By IRNA,
Gaza City : Hamas officials said Friday that an announcement of an 18-month cease-fire with Israel was days away if Israel lifts blockade on Gaza in exchange for an end to Hamas rocket attacks on occupied territories.
Meanwhile, rockets were fired into Israel on Friday, causing no damage or injuries, and Israeli warplanes struck the southern Gaza city of Khan Yunis.
Israel and Hamas had a six-month ceasefire mediated by Egypt starting last June, but it was violated and after it ended when Israel launched a three-week air, land and sea aggression on Gaza.
Israel is an occupying power and the International Law does not allow it to attack or impose blockade on the people whose territory has been occupied.
Hamas Government says Israel must lift blockade on Gaza if it wants launching long-range missiles to the occupied territories to stop.
