Rahmani Foundation ready to host national seminar on freedom struggle

New Delhi: Bihar’s prominent educational institution Rahmani Foundation of Munger is getting ready for the 3-day national seminar on the freedom struggle. Beginning from February 22, the seminar will see historians and scholars presenting papers on generally neglected characters and events of the freedom movement.

Some of the topics of the papers include: Contributions of Ulema in Freedom Struggle, Beginning of Freedom Struggle in Bengal and its Impacts, Rise and Fall of Sirajuddaula, Nawab Mir Jafar and Nawab Mir Qasim, Rise and Fall of Nawab of Audh, Begum Zeenat Mahal and Freedom Struggle, Syed Ahmad Shaheed Barelvi, Role of Urdu journalists in the War of 1857.

For the seminar being organized by Rahmani Foundation in collaboration with National Council for Promotion of Urdu Language, the premises of the Foundation have been well decorated and all preparations have been made.

Those who are attending the seminar include: Prof. Siddiqur Rahman Kidwai (Delhi), Prof. Muhammad Aquil Rizvi (Allahabad), Makhmoor Saidi (Delhi) and Khalid Ebadi (Patna).
