New Delhi : The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Sunday said it would support the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) every decision if Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha L.K. Advani steps down.
“Whatever decision is to be taken (on who should be the next opposition leader) has to be taken by L.K. Advani himself and the party. The Sangh will have no specific views on this issue,” RSS leader Ram Madhav told reporters here.
Three top RSS leaders — Madan Das Devi, Suresh Soni and Bhaiyyaji Joshi — met Advani earlier Sunday.
“The election results were discussed and exchange of notes took place in the meeting,” Madhav said.
Asked if the RSS was also analysing the reasons for the BJP’s poll debacle, Madhav said the Sangh does not have the capacity to analyse the election results.
