Kabul : A suicide bombing killed two Afghan soldiers as well as four civilians, and injured 11 others in Paktika province of eastern Afghanistan Wednesday, provincial governor Akram Khapalwak told Xinhua.
The explosion occurred in Barmal district, he said, adding that they had targeted Afghan soldiers.
No one has claimed responsibility, but Taliban militants have carried out similar attacks before.
Due to rising Taliban violence, over 4,100 people, most of whom were Taliban militants, have been killed in Afghanistan this year.
