New Delhi: Senior Congress leader Arjun Singh was discharged from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) where he was admitted with chest infection last week, hospital authorities said Monday.
“His condition improved satisfactorily. We discharged him today (Monday) afternoon,” Randeep Guleria, a medicine specialist who was treating the former union minister, told IANS.
The 80-year-old politician was admitted to the AIIMS with chest infection and abdominal pain Friday.
Singh was the human resource development minister in the previous United Progressive Alliance government.
