Online petition to Prez in support of Telangana

By TCN News,

Hyderabad: Civil Liberties Monitoring Committee of India has called upon people to sign an online petition to the President of India to demand halt to “the violation of rights and restore the Democracy to protect the Fundamental and Democratic Rights of Telangana region.”

“We request all the Human Rights and Civil Liberties organizations of National and International level to concentrate on this region. Because, we strongly feel that almost all the Fundamental Rights are ceased and there is no voice from the rights groups. Therefore, it is the primary responsibility of rights group to take up this issue,” said Lateef Mohammad Khan, General Secretary, CLMC.

“We also request all Rights Organizations to issue the statements to pressurize the government of India in connection of rights violation,” he said and added: “We strongly feel that the National Media is not giving due importance to this movement which is actually peoples movement. Therefore we also request them to kindly concentrate on this issue.”
