Chandigarh: After acquiring 3,000 acres of land this financial year, the Haryana State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corp (HSIIDC) is looking to take over another 3,000 acres by the end of March, an official said Wednesday.
“During 2009-10, we have acquired 3,000 acres of land that included 1,800 acres in Rohtak, 300 acres in Manakpur and 250 acres in Karnal,” HSIIDC managing director Rajeev Arora said here.
“We have plans for acquiring 3,000 acres of land till March 31. These acquisitions would involve a capital layout of about Rs.1,840 crore,” he said.
In 2008-09, the corporation achieved its highest ever net profit of Rs.44.88 crore against Rs.35.47 crore during the previous financial year.
