“Islam and non-violence” seminar in Chennai on April 26th

Chennai: Chennai based Forum for the Promotion of Moderate Thought in Islam is organizing a seminar on the topic of “Islam and non-violence.” Prince of Arcot Mohammad Abdul Ali and famous scholar Dr. Asghar Ali Engineer are some of the speakers in this seminar.

The secretary of the Forum, A. Faizur Rahman talking to TwoCircles.net said that “the idea behind this event is to propagate the fact that Islam is a non- violent religion and it is not what the extremist claim it to be.”
