New Delhi : Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Ijaz Butt chose to stay silent about his scheduled meeting with International Cricket Council (ICC) president Sharad Pawar here Thursday.
Butt arrived here Wednesday and will meet Pawar in the afternoon to discuss the spot-fixing crisis that has engulfed Pakistan cricket.
“I can’t share anything at this point,” Butt told IANS, adding that he was looking forward to meet Pawar, who is also the union agriculture minister.
The ICC has provisionally suspended three Pakistani cricketers — pacers Mohammad Aamer, Mohammad Asif and captain Salman Butt — on charges of spot-fixing in the Lord’s Test against England.
The scandal was exposed by the News of the World tabloid in a sting operation.
