Bhubaneswar : Orissa Wednesday intensified security ahead of the court verdict on the Ramjanmabhoomi-Babri Masjid dispute in Ayodhya.
“We have asked all district collectors and superintendents of police to remain alert,” Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik told reporters.
Appealing to the people to maintain peace and harmony, Patnaik also said instructions have been issued to officials to deal firmly with any untoward incident.
Additional police force have been deployed in the sensitive pockets, a senior official of the state home department told IANS.
