New Delhi : A day after heavy rains lashed Delhi, a clear and sunny morning greeted citizens Thursday.
“The rains have brought down the temperature. But now it’s expected to be a mix of mist and clear skies throughout the day,” an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official said.
The minimum temperature was recorded at 17.5 degrees.
“Early mornings and evenings would experience shallow fog and chilly breeze. However, the temperature is expected to rise by a notch or two in the days to come,” the official said.
The capital received 5.8 mm rainfall Wednesday, making many Delhiites switch to woollen wear as the maximum temperature fell to 26.1 degrees.
