Kabul : Eleven Taliban militants were killed by NATO-led forces in Afghanistan, an official said.
The militants were killed after coalition forces’ warplanes pounded their hideout in Afghanistan’s Helmand province.
“Helicopters of international forces Saturday struck a militants’ hideout in Musa Qala district. As a result, 11 insurgents including a local Taliban commander Mullah Fazil were killed,” Xinhua quoted a provincial administration official as saying Sunday.
