New Delhi: Karnatka Lokayukta Justice N. Santosh Hegde will not resign from the joint committee formed to draft the Lokpal Bill, civil society representative in the joint committee Arvind Kejriwal said Saturday.
“Justice Santosh Hegde is not going to resign from the committee,” he said.
Hegde had earlier said that it was for social activist Anna Hazare to decide whether he should quit the Lokpal Bill drafting panel or not.
Hegde had announced he would quit the 10-member panel after Congress leader Digvijay Singh questioned his success in curbing corruption in Karnataka
