Aligarh: The Aligarh Muslim University Vice-Chancellor, Prof. P.K. Abdul Azis, on behalf of the Academic Council, has approved the Summer Vacations for the year 2011 in the University and its maintained institutions including University Schools to be observed from 1st June to 31st July 2011.
The Summer Vacations in the Faculty of Medicine shall be observed in two halves of 38 days each for teaching staff from 17.05.2011 to 23.06.2011 and from 24.06.2011 to 31.07.2011. The summer vacations for MBBS students (Final Prof. Part-II Batch-2007), MBBS (Final Prof. Part-I Batch-2008) and MBBS (II Prof. Batch-2009) will start from 11th June to 30th June while MBBS (I Prof. Batch-2010) will start from 10th July to 31st July, says a communication from AMU PRO office.
The summer vacations for the students of BDS First year Batch-2010 and Second year Batch 2009 will start from 12th July to 31st July 2011 while for the students of BDS Third year Batch-2008 the vacations will start from 21stJune to 10 July and for BDS Final year Batch 2007, it will start from 1st June to 20th June.
The summer vacations for the Faculty of Unani Medicine will be notified later.
