Kolkata: West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee Friday said she will not use an official bullet-proof car.
“I won’t use the bullet-proof car. I don’t want to spend so much public money for my security,” Banerjee told her reporters after taking over as the new chief minister.
Banerjee said she uses a small car owned by her party. “I don’t have any car of my own.”
However, the chief minister said she would leave the nitty-gritties of her security to the concerned agencies.
