New Delhi: Corporate lobbyist Niira Radia, a witness in the 2G spectrum allocation case, Wednesday met Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) Director A.P. Singh, an official said.
The meeting lasted for about 20 minutes in his North Block office in central Delhi.
According to CBI sources, Radia, listed 44th among the 125 witnesses in the case, “was apprehensive of a lawyer blackmailing on pretext of exposing her”.
Singh, however, refused to comment on the issue, citing that she is a witness in the case and can meet any official.
The CBI is to file its second supplementary charge sheet in the 2G spectrum case by the end of June.
The investigative agency is also expected to register a regular case in 2G spectrum allocation scam between 2001 to 2007.
