Ambala (Haryana) : A middle-aged widow was abducted and allegedly later raped by four unidentified youths in this Haryana district, police said Saturday.
“The victim and her son, residents of village Naneola, were returning from Gugga Pir Madi yesterday (Friday). They took a lift from a known person in his car,” a police official said here.
“However, they were stopped by four motorcycle borne youths who forcibly took away the victim,” he added.
“In her complaint, the woman said the youths took her to some fields and raped her. Later, two of them dropped her near her house late night. We have got her medical examination done and are waiting for the report,” the official said.
Ambala is around 35 km from state capital Chandigarh.
