Islamabad: Pakistan’s population is expected to cross 200 million by 2020.
The assessment comes at a time when a baby born Monday in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh is going to be the seven billionth child.
Pakistan’s population in the middle of this year was estimated to be 177.1 million, Dawn reported.
The country faces a challenge with an annual addition of three million people.
