New Delhi : India and Sweden will strengthen their collaboration in the health sector during Swedish Health Minister Goran Hagglund three-day visit to India that began Monday, an official said Monday.
The minister arrived here with a delegation comprising officials of public agencies and Swedish companies active in the field of healthcare and medical technology.
Hagglund will call on Health Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad and take part in a number of seminars and visit a number of public agencies and healthcare facilities, to explore further potentials for India-Swedin collaborations.
“An important event during this visit will be the announcement of a major business deal between Bactiguard and Cadila Pharmaceuticals, (one of India’s largest pharmaceutical companies),” said the official.
