Jerusalem : Israel will deploy its Iron Dome anti-missile system in Tel Aviv, the army said Monday.
The deployment is intended to be part of a simulation of a missile attack by militants in Gaza or Lebanon, or other neighbouring states.
“The Iron Dome is still being fully integrated into the IDF (Israel Defence Forces),” an army spokesman told Xinhua. Over two dozen Israelis were killed in rocket attacks by Gaza militants over the past decade.
