New Delhi : The Lok Sabha was again adjourned for the day Wednesday over the vexed issue of carving a separate Telangana state from Andhra Pradesh.
Protests over the demand for a Telangana state rocked the house for the third consecutive day.
The house was first adjourned till 12 noon and later till 2 p.m. and then for the day. Congress members from Andhra Pradesh and MPs of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi raised slogans for a separate state.
Prime Minister Manmohan Singh called Home Minister P. Chidambaram for a discussion.
The Lok Sabha has been witnessing disruptions over Telangana since Monday.
