Azamgarh: In spite of all round protests, whereabouts of two students of Jamiatul Falah who, as per media reports, were picked up by ATS from Delhi bound Kaifiyat Express at Aligarh Station on 24th May is still not known.
Maulana Tahir Madni, Nazim, Jamiatul Falah, Bilariyaganj, Azamgarh, has informed about frantic efforts being made by all justice seeking individuals and organizations to know about these two residential students who have come from Kashmir to study in this renowned Seminary.
To put pressure on the administration and the state government, thousands of students of Jamiatul Falah and local people will hold a protest demonstration in Azamgarh today.
Maulana Tahir Madni has told about efforts being made by Mr. Wajahat Habibullah, Chairman, NCM, New Delhi to get the details from Mr. Javed Usmani, Chief Secretary, U.P. Mr. Waseem Ahmad, Minister of State for Basic Education, etc is in constant touch with DGP, U.P. and other officials. His query from D.M. and S.P. of Aligarh has not been fruitful. He has promised to discuss this illegal detention with the Chief Minister .Mr. Nafees Ahmad (an important member of the Akhilesh team) and Secretary Yuvjan Sabha, Samajwadi Party, when contacted was getting ready to go out for a meeting with CM Mr. Akhilesh Singh. He has promised to discuss this with the CM.
Maulana Tahir Madni and others came to know of this incident from Hindi newspaper ‘Hindustan’ of 25th May, which describes in detail the well planned snatching of these two students from the general coach of Kaifiyat Express in the morning of 24th May.
Previously also students of Azamgarh belonging to the state of Kashmir were harassed/arrested. The apparent allergy for Kashmiri students as shown by Police forces raises serious question about their view of Kashmir as an integral part of India. Why these forces bent upon denying the constitutional right of Indian citizens living in the state of Jammu & Kashmir?
