Abu Dhabi : A mobile hospital from the UAE will deliver therapeutic, surgical and preventive services to Syrian refugees in Jordan.
The Emirates World Mobile Humanitarian Hospital will work with a joint UAE-Jordanian volunteer medical team.
Khadem Al Darie, team leader of the hospital, said the move is part of humanitarian operations carried out by relief organisations from the UAE to assist Syrian refugees.
He said mobile clinics would be set up in the first phase, a 20-bed specialist mobile hospital in the second phase while the final phase will see emergence of a 100-bed hospital to meet the growing demand for health services.
