Amman : The World Food Programme (WFP) has honoured Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, chairman of the Red Crescent Authority (RCA), for his humanitarian role.
The honour was received on Sheikh Hamdan’s behalf by Abdullah Nasser Sultan Al A’meri, the UAE’s ambassador to Jordan, on the sidelines of the Fourth Global Humanitarian Aviation Conference held near the Dead Sea.
The UAE envoy stressed the keenness of his country in supporting the programmes of international humanitarian organisations.
