Gurgaon: A share broker committed suicide by hanging himself from a ceiling fan here, police said Saturday. In his suicide note, he has blamed heavy loss in business as the reason behind taking this extreme step.
Pradeep Kumar, 30, was a resident of sector 57. He was alone in his house when he took this extreme step, police said. His neighbours informed the police.
Pradeep hailed from New Delhi’s Paschim Vihar. He was married.
Police recovered a suicide note from the spot.
“In his last note, Pradeep has written that no one is responsible for his extreme step. He is ending his life because of heavy loss in the business. Due to losses, there use to be strife in the family and with his wife,” said a police official.
The post-mortem will be conducted Sunday.
“We are carrying out further investigations. We have taken his laptop and mobile phone in our custody,” the officer added.
