Aligarh: The General Secretary of Furqania Academy Waqf, Bangalore, Maulana Aneesur Rahman Nadvi will deliver a lecture on “Climate Change in the light of Quran and Hadith” on January 19, 2013 in the Aligarh Muslim University.
The lecture is being organized by the K. A. Nizami Centre for Quranic Studies of the university. Brigadier S. Ahmad Ali, Pro-Vice Chancellor will preside.
In another programme, Prof. Prabhat Kumar Patnaik, an eminent economist, will inaugurate a Seminar on “Women in India: From Repression to Empowerment” on the same day at Advanced Centre for Women’s Studies, AMU.
