Haryana teacher honoured

Gurgaon: Haryana Governor Jagannath Pahadia Saturday honoured a woman teacher here for exposing sexual exploitation of inmates of an NGO last year, said a official spokesperson.

Nisha Yadav is a teacher who exposed sexual exploitation of inmates in ‘Suparna Ka Angan’, a shelter home run by an NGO.

Yadav, a teacher at the Government School in Wazirabad village near sector 52, used to teach the underprivileged children at the shelter home in her extra time. After a few month she noticed the sexual harassment of the inmates and exposed it in May 2012.

NGO president Suparana Sethi and caretaker Rachit were sent to jail for the heinous crime.
