Kabul : Ten Taliban militants have been killed in military operations across Afghanistan Since Saturday, the interior ministry said Sunday.
“Afghan National Police (ANP) supported by the army and the NATO-led coalition forces conducted several clean-up operations in Kunar, Zabul, Uruzgan, Khost, Paktia, Badghis and Helmand provinces over the past 24 hours,” an official statement said.
“As a result 10 armed Taliban were killed and three other armed Taliban were arrested,” Xinhua reported citing the statement.
Statistics released by the ministry showed, a total of 77 militants had been killed and over 100 detained during military operations since beginning of this month across the country.
