Islamabad: At least two people were killed and 14 injured in a bomb blast in Pakistan’s port city of Karachi Friday evening, a media report said.
The blast targeted the vehicle of Shafiq Tanoli, station house officer, Mauripur, Geo News reported.
Tanoli’s vehicle was parked outside his house in the Purani Sabzi Mandi area of the city.
According to sources, he was in not in his vehicle at the time of the attack.
The officer’s car was demolished and his house was partly damaged in the blast, the report cited eye witnesses as saying.
The injured were taken to a nearby hospital.
