Gurgaon : Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar Wednesday said it will be ensured that private hospitals which got land at concessional rates follow the terms and conditions of land allotment.
He was talking to media here after launching ‘Betiyan Hain Anmol, Inhe Bachao Dil se’ campaign to be run jointly by Heart Care Foundation of India and Medanta – The Medicity.
Under the campaign, infant girls suffering from congenital heart disease and needing surgery will be operated upon free of cost, if their parents are unable to bear the cost.
Khattar expressed his concern at the skewed sex ratio in Haryana which stands at 837 in below-6 year age group. He termed female foeticide as a social curse.
Medicity Medanta hospital in sector 31 and Artemis in sector 51 are some of the multi-specialty hospitals built on land provided by Haryana government at huge concessional rates in the interest of common people.
