New Delhi : Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) joint secretary M.P. Pandove, who was deputed by board president Sharad Pawar to be in Perth to assist the Indian team management, fighting battles on various fronts, had to cancel his visit at the last minute because of a family problem.
Pandove, who was to go to Mumbai from Hyderabad, en route to Perth, returned to his hometown Patiala Sunday as his elder brother developed post-surgery complications.
However, the board chief might ask Pandove to reschedule his trip after a couple of days or depute another senior official to go to Australia.
