Kolkata : The South Eastern Railway will run a special train between Howrah and Yeshwantpur to help candidates appearing in entrance examinations for admission to engineering, medical and dental colleges in Karnataka, a statement said on Wednesday.
The examinations will be held on May 9 and 10.
The “Examination Special” will leave Howrah on May 7 at 7.45 p.m. reaching Yeshwantpur at 4.20 a.m. on May 9. In the return direction, the train will depart Yeshwantpur at 1.00 p.m. on May 11 and reach Howrah at 9.10 a.m. on May 13.
The special train will stop at Kharagpur, Bhadrak, Cuttack, Bhubneswar, Khurda Road, Brahmapur, Palasa, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada, Gudur, Renigunta, Katpadi and Jollarpettai between Howrah and Yeshwantpur.
