Mumbai : Micro Technologies India Ltd (MTIL) has signed a strategic agreement with Colombo-based real estate and construction company I-systems to market its security products and licences in Sri Lanka.
The inking of the agreement has been informed to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) Friday.
Kavinda Jayasooriya, managing director of I-systems, said the Sri Lankan market at present offers good opportunities for MTIL’s security products and licences.
The two firms would focus on the absence of GSM (global system for mobile) and security systems in Sri Lanka.
The companies also want to focus on the home security segment, “the hottest segment for making forays into Sri Lankan market”, said Mukund Gupta, chief operating officer of MTIL.
MTIL is the country’s leading security and life-support systems provider.
