Jammu : At least 10 people were killed and over 40 injured when a bus skidded off the road and fell into a gorge in Jammu and Kashmir Monday.
The police said the bus was on its way from Basholi to Billawar when the accident happened.
“Three passengers died on the spot while seven others succumbed to their injuries on way to the hospital,” said J.P. Singh, Kathua superintendent of police.
The injured have been shifted to Jammu medical college hospital, he added.
Doctors at the hospital told reporters that condition of 12 of the injured was critical.
