New Delhi : Ekaterina Dzehalevic of Belarus clinched the $50,000 ITF women’s tennis tournament beating fourth seed Yanina Wickmayer of Belgium at the Delhi Lawn Tennis Association (DLTA) here Saturday.
Dezehalevich, ranked 209, recovered from being a set-down to seal the match 2-6, 6-3, 6-2.
The Belarusian, who was unseeded in the tournament, had previously ousted second seed French Mathilde Johansson, seventh seed Sunitha Rao and fifth seed Margit Ruutel en route to the final.
