Mumbai : Raghu Menon, additional secretary and financial advisor in the civil aviation ministry, has emerged as the consensus candidate for the post of chairman and managing director of National Aviation Company of India Ltd (NACIL).
NACIL manages Air India, the merged entity representing the erstwhile domestic carrier Indian Airlines and international carrier Air India.
According to NACIL sources, Menon will replace CMD V. Thulasidas, who was on extension and will demit office March 31. An official announcement about the appointment is expected shortly.
