Ramallah : The Prisoners Centre for Studies in the West Bank revealed on Saturday that 344 childre were languishing in Israeli jails.
The center said in a statement quoting Director of the center Raafat Hamdouna that the prisoners are subjected to many violations that require intervention to be stopped, especially as Israel violates international norms and conventions guaranteeing protection of prisoners.
He appealed to the official institutions, civil and human rights organizations to reaffirm the right of children to enjoy their freedom and resume their lives as children of the world.
