UAE’s “Training without Borders” trains Moroccan medical staff

Rabat : 8 Belgian training medical doctors have from “Training without Borders” programme arrived in Morocco starting a 4-day mission to train 30 Moroccan doctors, paramedics on emergency, resuscitation and critical cases.

The programme is part of “The Zayed Giving Initiative”, a joint heart treatment initiative between the UAE Red Crescent Authority (RCA) and Emirates World Heart Group (EWHG) to train a total of 300 Moroccan medical staff in cooperaion with the European Resuscitation Council (ERC).

Executive Director of the Zayed Giving Initiative Dr. Adel Al Shameri said the team will conduct the training according to an internationally recognized courses using the state-of-the-art virtual reality and simulation technology.

The initiative, he added, is the world’s first voluntary and non-profit medical training programme.
