Ramallah : A member of the Palestinian Committee of Popular Resistance was killed Tuesday in east Yabalia refugee camp, north Gaza, under Israeli fire.
Security sources said the victim was hit by a projectile presumably fired by Israeli troops that penetrated the area.
Several witnesses said that Israel’s Tuesday morning attack was backed by over 30 tanks and an Israeli source called the mission in east Yabalia “routine”.
A group of angry residents in Nablus, West Bank, clashed with Israeli soldiers because a bus with Israeli settlers ran over and killed 15-year-old shepherd Sharid Shtayeh near Salem.
Shtayeh and some sheeps met instant death, added Palestinian witnesses and Israeli medics, and becomes the third Palestinian killed by Israeli drivers along the past 12 months, explained local authorities.
Angry Salem neighbors took to the streets and threw stones at the bust and at soldiers that opened fire.
