London : The UK Chapter of Pakistan Muslim League-Q has called upon the newly installed coalition Governments at the Centre and in provinces to concentrate on addressing the issues concerning the well-being of the people.
In a statement, the UK party chief Muhammad Asif Shahzad deplored maltreatment of both former Sindh Chief Minister Arbab Rahim and ex-Federal Minister Dr. Sher Afgan Khan Niazi and called for proper investigation into the two incidents.
He said the violence in Karachi which followed the Sher Afgan incident was also condemnable and urged the politicians and political parties and other stakeholders from all sides to exercise caution .
He said the country could only develop and prosper through mutual tolerance and acceptance and consolidation of democratic institutions.
