By Prensa Latina,

Beijing : Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf condemned the attempts to subvert and politicize the Olympic Games in Beijing using the Tibet as pretext.

Musharraf, on a special visit to Beijing after the Boao Forum for Asia in Hainan, told China Daily that his country considers Tibet, above all, indivisible part of China and lashed at any effort to tarnish the Games, namely the torch relay.

The head of states regretted and condemned slanderous reports on Tibet and human rights by western politicians and the media and those who protect and instigate the secessionists in Tibet.

The Pakistani president reminded that security, development and progress and the people’s wellbeing are prime responsibility of any government and China is almost there.

Musharraf will visit Urumqi, capital of the NW autonomous region of Uygur, Xinjiang, on the border with Pakistan.

The visitor called both countries to develop communications infrastructure and build a railroad connecting Gwandar port, China, along Karakoram highway.

He also proposed to complement the above with an oil and gas pipeline, connecting republics and regions in Central Asia to the world through Pakistan and cut oil supply distance from the Persian Gulf to China.
