Tehran : A memorandum of understanding (MoU) on educational cooperation was signed here Wednesday by managing director of Telecommunication Company of Iran (TCI) and regional director of Chinese ” Hua-wy Company”.
In the ceremony, Saber Feyzi said the aim of the MoU is to transfer know-how and holding educational training courses in cooperation with the Chinese telecommunication company.
Feyzi said, “Telecommunication college in Isfahan is an international center and Hua-wy company is also a well-known company in the field of telecommunication, too.”
Wang Hua-ji, for his part, said, “We have had good cooperation with TCI in the past years.”
He continued, “Iran has been the best customer for the Chinese company in the Middle East region.”
On the Regional Training Center, Dean of TCI college Gholam Ali Hassani Sadr said, “The center is to remove educational needs of the TCI as well as Asian and Oceania telecommunication companies and those who have bought equipment from Hua-wy company.
He said, “Upon the MoU, a training center will be established in Foulad-Shahr city in Isfahan province to hold domestic and international training courses.
Sadr added, “The MoU committed the Chinese company to transfer modern equipment to Iran after around five months and install them in the Foulad-Shahr training center.
“By commissioning the training center, we will accept students from all around Middle East region,” Sadr concluded.
