Chennai : A book on Sachin Tendulkar, by noted television commentator Harsha Bhogle, was released here Thursday on the occasion of the batting maestro’s 35th birthday.
The 300-page hardbound book, “Tendulkar” was edited by Mudar Pathreya and contains several rare photographs of the master blaster, including those from his childhood days.
The book, which carries the logo of the Mumbai Indians team on the cover along with his photograph, contains comments and articles by leading cricketers, including legendary Sir Donald Bradman.
Tendulkar listened with rapt attention as Bhogle read out a couple of select portions from the book that is published by Rathipriya Trading Private Limited.
