Gaza : A Palestinian lost his life and several others were wounded in an Israeli incursion that targeted Khaza’a town in southern Gaza early on Sunday, witnesses said.
They said Hussam Al-Najjar, in his 50s, was killed with tank shells during the military operation in the town. The man’s brother and his wife were also wounded with shrapnel.
At least four other people were wounded in the Israeli operation involving tanks and armored personnel carriers.
The Israeli troops thrust into the town on a surprise assault, advancing under cover of a barrage of gunfire.
