Ramallah : Media Office of the Nafha Society for Defending Detainees Rights and Human Rights said that Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) arrested 190 Palestinian children since the beginning of 2008.
In a report, the Society said that 20 children from the West Bank were arrested during the last 10 days, adding that 6,200 children were arrested during al-Aqsa intifada, of whom 530 children are still in Israeli jails.
Nafha Society appealed to the Human Rights Organizations to focus on children’s prisoners and provide them legal assistance.
In JENIN, Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) arrested on Tuesday morning two Palestinians in the West Bank city of Jenin, security sources said.
They added that Israeli soldiers stormed and conducted a search into houses and arrested two persons, leading them into an unknown location.
In HEBRON, IOF raided dawn on Tuesday a number of houses and ransack a mosque in the city of Hebron and Nuba village , southern West Bank, local sources said.
They added that the occupation forces raided the house of Rateb al-Ewiewi in Qarn al-Thour area in the city of Hebron, and inspected the house and caused havoc in its content.
The IOF troops also stormed Nimra mosque in Hebron city, inspected and checked its contents.
IOF bulldozers bulldozed and destroyed on Tuesday morning a piece of land south of the West Bank city of Hebron, in preparation for erecting a military site, local sources told WAFA.
They added that the Israeli military bulldozers razed, under the protection of the occupying forces, a piece of land as a approximately 2 Donems owned by Hilmi al-Jamal, in South Street No. 60, south of the city.
The Israeli procedures come as a prelude for the establishment of observation posts and lasting military site in the area aimed at preventing citizens from moving across the colonial road and controlling over the movement of cars
In KHAN YOUNIS, Israeli air strike killed on Tuesday one citizen and wounded three others in the Gaza Strip city of Khan Younis, local and medical sources told WAFA.
They added that an Israeli warplane fired at least one missile towards a group of people in east al-Qarara town of Khan Younis governorate, killing one citizen and wounded three others who were taken to Naser hospital.
