Aurangabad (Bihar): Where there is a will there is a way. This has been proved once again by Masoom Ali Sarwar, a 26-year-old youth who has made this district and his community proud by competing the Civil Services Examination 2007.

Resident of Kara village of Aurangabad district, Sarwar, the eldest son of Mohammad Ameen, has succeeded in the country’s most coveted exam held by UPSC and got 608th position in the country. Most naturally, his parents are delighted as their son has made their dream come true.

Sarwar got primary education in his village and also completed matriculation from Kara High School. A graduate from Sanha College of Aurangabad, Sarwar was compelled by family’s economic condition to get involved in his father’s business. Yet, he continued his education and worked hard to fulfill the dreams of his parents to see him as an IAS (Indian Administrative Service) officer.

His tireless labour brought him fruit when he topped in CISF (Central Industrial Security Force) exams in 2004. He was appointed as Sub-Inspector at Chennai International Airport. But this success too could not distract him from his goal to become an IAS. This determination and ambition resulted in his success at the Civil Services examination whose results were announced last week.

Masoom Ali Sawar is the eldest among four brothers and sisters. His success has inspired Muslim youths in his hometown to work hard to get success.
