Luanda : A research conducted by Angola”s Ministry for Social Welfare and Reinsertion (MARS) showed growing child orphanage in Cunene, 606 kilometers south of Luanda.
According to the report, near 4,300 children lost their parents to HIV/AIDS, while 198 infants have been infected with the disease.
The research covered Kwanhama, Namacunde and Ombandja municipalities, considered the hardest hit by the pandemic.
The research numbered in near 20,000 the children vulnerable to crime, to become orphans or having to seek their food in the streets.
