Three Muslims qualify for Indian Military Academy 125th Course

Patna : 3 Muslims have qualified for admissions to 125th Course of Indian Military Academy, Dehradun. The Union Public Service Commission declared the results of Combined Defence Services Examination II, 2007.

Amer Hussain Mohammad is ranked 51st, Changda Riyaz Mahmad Basir is ranked 97th and Naseem Ahmad is ranked 148th in the list of 248 candidates for Indian Military Academy (IMA). No Muslim was able to qualify for Indian Naval Academy and Air Force Academy this year.

Three Muslims have qualified for each of the previous three CDS exams.

The selected candidates have qualified on the basis of the results of the written examination and interview for admission to the 125th Course of Indian Military Academy, Dehradun, Naval Academy, Goa and 184th (Pre-Flying) Training Course of Air Force Station, Begumpet, Hyderabad.

The number of vacancies for Indian Military Academy is 250, for Naval Academy is 40 and for Air Force Academy, the vacancies are 47.
