Parsvnath to develop Buddha Smriti Udhyaan in Patna

New Delhi : The city-based realtor Parsvnath Developers Ltd announced Friday that it has won a Rs.1.25 billion ($30 million) order to build a Buddha Smriti Udhyaan in Patna.

The company has received a letter of acceptance (LoA) from Buddha Smriti Udhyaan Development Company Ltd (BSUDC) to develop the project that comprises landscaped areas, a stupa, meditation halls, museum and public amenities.

The project, a facsimile of Delhi’s Akshardhaam temple, will be designed by Lall and Associates.

The state-of-the-art project will enhance the beauty of Patna and is poised to attract tourists from across the world, said Parsvnath.

Spread over an area of 20.65 acres with developable area of 290,000 square feet, the project is expected to be completed in nine months.

Parsvnath Developers chairman Pradeep Jain said: “The construction of Buddha Smriti Udhyaan marks an important milestone for Parsvnath’s growing diversified portfolio. With this, Parsvnath has embarked on its first offering in the emerging markets of Bihar thereby strengthening our pan-India Presence.”
