Nab real culprits: Rajasthan Muslim Forum

By M Iqbal Siddiqui,

Jaipur (Rajasthan): “They know very well, who is the real culprit behind all these blasts in the country, but they don’t want to arrest them”, said Qari Mueenuddeen, convener of Rajasthan Muslim Forum while addressing a press conference here yesterday.

“How can they getaway merely alleging some foreign organizations? What are they doing with their entire cadre? After all, they are responsible for this country’s security.” he asked addressing the press conference. “Whenever the elections are about to come, such incidents occur and the election is won” he added.

Once again country has rocked after the recent serial bomb blasts in Bangalore and Ahmadabad. The incident was unanimously condemned as it should be. Rajasthan Muslim Forum also condemned the heinous act as it has done after the previous blasts at other places in the country. The forum is of the opinion that these blasts are a part of a conspiracy being carried out to weaken our country and shatter our society. There are some organizations in our country itself who want to weaken our country by hate-mongering and destroying harmony and brotherhood.

What is more serious and worrying is that the enemy is doing blasts after blasts and for a long time and we are still unable to nab them. Our police and intelligence agencies are fulfilling their duty by arresting the innocent Muslims and detaining them illegally in the name of investigation while the actual criminals are still free and engaged in their conspiracies.

Engineer Mohammad Salim, State President of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind asked: “Why these blasts are occurring in the BJP ruled states only?” while talking to the media men. He said that the sad aspect of our investigating agencies’ efforts is that they are working on the pre-assumption that only Muslims can be the culprits, hence dubiously chasing in that direction. They should consider all possibilities and base their suspicions on impartiality. They should keep the incidents of Nanded, Thane and South in mind, where the Sangh Parivar activists were found behind the blasts. “You cannot combat terrorism without taking the 15 Crore Muslims of the country in confidence,” he said.

The Forum demanded the government to take necessary steps to nab the real culprits behind these blasts, keeping all possibilities under consideration and to try to abolish fear and sense of insecurity from among the Muslim community. The Forum also appealed to the public to assist the investigating agencies in finding out the actual perpetrators as the problem is of every citizen of the country.

The Forum also announced to form a ‘people’s investigation team’ to assist the investigating agencies reach the truth as well as to find out the truth itself too.
